Proceeds from the Delta Chi Scholarship Golf Classic benefit the Delta Chi Educational Foundation. They are to be used for awarding scholarships and for the funding of leadership training opportunities for Delta Chi Fraternity undergraduate members.

Entrants in the Delta Chi Scholarship Golf Classic may designate their share of the donations to the Delta Chi Educational Foundation for to a specific Delta Chi undergraduate chapter’s Scholarship Account if that chapter has such an account within the Foundation.

If a chapter does not have a Scholarship Account, the donation will be directed to the Foundation’s general fund.

The Delta Chi Educational Foundation is a 501c(3) entity, however, entry fees, contributions or gifts to the Delta Chi Scholarship Golf Classic may not be deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

At the 2012 Delt Chi Fraternity Convention in Pittsburg, Don Turk (center), chairman of the Delta Chi Scholarship Golf Classic, presented a check for $4,300 to Michael Martinez (left) DCEF's Chief Development Office, and DCEF President Jim Marascio (right). The donation brings to $12,000 the amount donated to the Foundation from the golf tournament for use in awarding scholarships and funding leadership development opportunities for Delta Chi Fraternity undergraduates.
